1. Introduction

The Quercetti Pallino Educational Mosaic Game is designed to engage users aged 4-8 years in creating colorful mosaic patterns using marbles. This manual provides comprehensive instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your Pallino game to ensure an optimal experience.

2. Components

The Quercetti Pallino game includes the following components:

3. Setup

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging. Ensure all marbles and pattern cards are present.
  2. Prepare the Game Board: Place the Pallino game board on a flat, stable surface. The board features a transparent cover over the mosaic area and a reservoir for marbles.
  3. Load Marbles: Pour the assorted colored marbles into the designated marble reservoir on the right side of the game board.
  4. Select a Pattern Card: Choose one of the 6 double-sided pattern cards. Slide the chosen card into the slot located on the left side of the game board, beneath the transparent cover, ensuring it is securely in place.

4. Operating Instructions

The Pallino game operates by guiding colored marbles into specific columns to replicate patterns or create original designs.

  1. Start a New Game: Tilt the board to allow marbles from the reservoir to roll into the top feeding channel.
  2. Select a Column: Observe the color of the marble at the top of the feeding channel. To guide the marble into a specific column, press the corresponding numbered button (1-12) at the bottom of the board.
  3. Place the Marble: Once the desired column button is pressed, the marble will drop into that column.
  4. Exit Unwanted Marbles: If a marble's color does not match the desired pattern or is not needed, press the "EXIT" button to divert it back into the reservoir.
  5. Create Patterns: Continue selecting columns and placing marbles according to the chosen pattern card or your own creative design.
  6. Reset a Column: If a marble is placed incorrectly in a column, use the "RESET" lever located at the bottom right to clear that specific column, returning its marbles to the reservoir.
