1. Important Safety Instructions
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS HEATER.
- Direct Connection: Always plug heaters directly into a 120V wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord, power strip, surge protector, multiple outlet adapter, cord reel, or outlet-type air freshener. Using such devices may create a fire hazard.
- Secure Connection: Ensure the heater plug fits tightly into the outlet before each use. During use, check to make certain the heater plug is not overheating. If necessary, have a qualified electrician check and/or replace the wall outlet.
- Polarized Plug: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
- Overheat Protection: The heater is equipped with built-in overheat protection that automatically shuts off the unit if it becomes too hot.
- Cool-Touch Exterior: The exterior of the heater is designed to remain cool to the touch during operation, enhancing safety.
- Placement: Keep the heater away from flammable materials such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains. Maintain at least a 3-foot (0.9 meter) clearance from the front, sides, and rear of the heater.
- Supervision: Do not leave the heater operating unattended, especially around children or pets.
