Setup & Installation
Rack Mounting
The PS9U is designed for standard 1U rack mounting. To install:
- Align the mounting holes on each side of the PS9U with the available holes on your rack or rack bag.
- Secure the unit using the provided mounting screws. Ensure both sides are firmly attached to prevent movement.
- If the unit has pre-attached rubber feet, these can be removed for a better fit in a rack.
Connecting Devices
Before connecting any equipment, ensure all individual power switches on the PS9U are in the OFF position.
- Plug the PS9U's main power cord into a suitable 110/220V AC power outlet.
- Connect your audio, video, or lighting equipment to the nine 3-prong AC outlets on the rear of the PS9U. Each outlet is numbered (CH.1 to CH.9) for easy identification.
- For USB charging, connect your mobile device to the 5V USB charging port on the front panel.

Operating Instructions
- Powering On: Once all devices are connected, turn on the main power switch on the PS9U. Then, individually flip the blue illuminated switches on the front panel for each channel (CH.1 to CH.9) to power on the connected equipment.
- USB Charging: The 5V USB charging port is active when the main power is on. Simply plug in your compatible USB device to begin charging.
- Powering Off: To turn off individual equipment, flip its corresponding channel switch to the OFF position. To power off all connected equipment, turn off the main power switch.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
- Fuse Replacement: The PS9U features a dependable 15A replaceable fuse. If the unit loses power unexpectedly, check the fuse housing on the front panel. Replace with a fuse of the same type and rating (15A).
