2. Basic Mixing

  • Use the central mixer section's faders to control the volume of each deck.

3. Jog Wheel Functions

  • Scratch Mode: Touch the top surface of the jog wheel to scratch the track.
  • Pitch Bend: Use the outer rim of the jog wheel to temporarily adjust the track's speed for beatmatching.
  • Search Mode: Hold the "Shift" button and rotate the jog wheel to quickly navigate through a track.

4. Hot Cues and Loops

  • Hot Cues: Press the dedicated hot cue buttons to set and recall cue points within a track.
  • Auto Loops: Use the auto loop buttons to instantly create loops of predefined lengths (e.g., 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2, 4, 8 beats).

5. Effects (FX) Control

The Poket DJ features dedicated FX controls. Refer to the Deckadance LE software manual for detailed information on available effects and their parameters. Typically, you can select an effect and adjust its intensity using the FX knob.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the surface of the controller. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the Poket DJ in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
