Operating Instructions
The Electrolux ZE030N is a 2-in-1 tool, offering both a brush and a small nozzle function.
Using the Brush Function
The brush function is ideal for delicate surfaces, upholstery, curtains, and dusting. The soft bristles help to dislodge dust and debris without scratching surfaces.
- Ensure the brush bristles are extended for use.
- Gently move the brush over the surface to be cleaned, allowing the vacuum's suction to collect dust and particles.
Using the Small Nozzle Function
The small nozzle function is perfect for reaching into tight spaces, crevices, corners, and for concentrated suction on hard surfaces or for removing debris from cushions.
- Retract the brush bristles to expose the narrow nozzle opening.
- Direct the nozzle into the area requiring cleaning.
- For upholstery, use short, overlapping strokes to lift dirt effectively.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Accessory
- Regular Cleaning: Periodically inspect the brush bristles and nozzle opening for accumulated dust, hair, or debris.
- Removing Debris: Use your fingers or a small tool (like tweezers) to carefully remove any tangled hair or fibers from the brush bristles.
- Washing (if necessary): If the accessory becomes very dirty, it can be gently washed with mild soap and lukewarm water. Ensure it is completely dry before reattaching it to the vacuum cleaner. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: Store the accessory in a clean, dry place when not in use to prevent damage.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Reduced Suction | Accessory or vacuum hose is clogged. | Check the accessory and vacuum hose for blockages. Clear any obstructions. Ensure the accessory is firmly attached. |
| Brush not effective | Bristles are dirty or worn. | Clean the brush bristles. If bristles are severely worn, consider replacing the accessory. |
| Accessory detaches easily | Not properly attached or incompatible size. | Ensure the accessory is pushed firmly onto the vacuum hose/wand. If using an adapter, ensure it is correctly fitted. Verify compatibility with your vacuum cleaner's connection size (32mm or 35mm). |
