Introduction
The Cassida C200 is an all-in-one solution designed for efficient and accurate coin handling. It recognizes, counts, sorts, and wraps U.S. coins (1, 5, 10, 25 cents, and dollar coins) at a speed of 300 coins per minute. This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your device to ensure optimal performance.
Product Overview
The Cassida C200 features a large hopper capacity of 2,000 coins and a bin capacity of 900 coins, reducing the need for constant refilling. Its easy-to-read LED screen displays the total value of coins counted and the value by denomination. Coin tube attachments and wrappers are included to facilitate automatic coin wrapping.

Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the Cassida C200 from its packaging. Ensure all components are present: the main unit, coin bins, and plastic coin tubes.
- Placement: Place the unit on a stable, flat surface. Ensure there is enough space around the machine for operation and maintenance.
- Install Coin Bins: Attach the provided coin bins to their corresponding slots around the base of the machine. Each bin is typically marked for a specific denomination (e.g., 1¢, 5¢, 10¢, 25¢, $1).
- Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the machine and then to a suitable electrical outlet (110V for US models). Turn on the machine using the power switch, usually located at the back.
- Coin Tube Preparation (for wrapping): If you intend to wrap coins, swap the coin bins with the provided coin tubes. Align the coin tubes with their corresponding denomination stickers. Ensure the crimped side of the coin wrapper is down and the wrapper is pushed all the way down into the tube. Use preformed coin wrappers only.

Operating Instructions
- Power On: Turn on the machine using the power switch. The LED display will illuminate.
- Load Coins: Place a batch of mixed coins into the hopper at the top of the machine. The hopper has a capacity of up to 2,000 coins. Avoid overfilling the hopper to prevent jams.
- Start Sorting/Counting: Press the START/STOP button to begin the sorting and counting process. Coins will be automatically sorted into their respective bins or tubes.
- Read Display: The LED screen will show the total value of coins counted in real-time.
- Report Function: Press the REPORT button to cycle through the total number of coins counted for each denomination.
- Batch Function (for wrapping):
- Hold down the "+" button for 3 seconds to automatically set the proper batch amounts for coin tubes. An "L" will be indicated on the left side of the screen.
- The machine will automatically stop when a coin tube is full, allowing you to replace the filled wrapper with an empty one.
- Stop Operation: Press the START/STOP button to pause or end the counting process.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and accuracy of your Cassida C200.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the coin pathways and sensors to prevent dust and debris buildup, which can affect counting accuracy. Use a soft, dry cloth or a small brush.
- Debris Removal: If foreign objects or bent coins are detected, remove them promptly to prevent jams or damage to the machine. The back of the machine has a small door for accessing the coin pathway to clear obstructions.
- Power Off When Not in Use: Always turn off and unplug the unit when it is not in use to conserve energy and prevent accidental operation.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Cassida C200, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Machine not counting accurately or jamming frequently. | Dust or debris in coin pathways, bent coins, or foreign objects. Overfilling the hopper. | Clean the coin pathways and sensors. Remove any bent coins or foreign objects. Avoid overfilling the hopper. |
| Machine stops unexpectedly during operation. | Coin tube is full (if wrapping), or a jam has occurred. | Replace full coin wrapper. Clear any jammed coins or objects from the machine. |
| Machine does not power on. | Power cord not properly connected, power switch off, blown fuse, or internal electrical issue. | Check power connections. Ensure power switch is ON. If fuse is accessible, check and replace. Contact support if issue persists. |
| Inaccurate counting of specific denominations (e.g., dollar coins). | The C200 model only sorts pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters into separate bins. Larger denominations like half-dollars and dollar coins will not be sorted into dedicated bins and may accumulate in the quarter bin or remain in the hopper. | Manually separate larger denominations if precise counting for these is required. Consider a model with more denomination slots if this is a frequent need. |
Video 2: A user review highlighting common issues like coin jams when the hopper is overfilled and the machine's inability to sort half-dollar or dollar coins into dedicated bins, causing them to accumulate or remain in the main hopper. This video provides practical insights into potential operational challenges.
