3.2 Adjusting Tripod Height
- Leg Extension: Locate the lever leg locks on each tripod leg. Flip the levers open to extend the leg sections to your desired height. Once extended, firmly close the levers to secure the legs. The tripod can extend from a minimum height of 16.5 inches to a maximum of 50 inches.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Pan and Tilt Head Operation
The tripod features a pan head for smooth camera movements:
- Pan Movement (Horizontal): Loosen the main locking knob on the pan head to allow horizontal rotation (360° pan). Tighten the knob to lock the position.
- Tilt Movement (Vertical): Loosen the handle to adjust the vertical tilt angle. The head supports 90° tilting for various shooting angles. Tighten the handle to secure the tilt.
- Landscape or Portrait Orientation: The pan head allows for easy switching between landscape and portrait orientations by adjusting the tilt and rotation.

4.2 Ensuring Stability
- Always ensure all leg locks and head adjustment knobs are securely tightened before leaving your camera unattended.
- For maximum stability, extend the legs fully and keep the center column as low as possible.
- Avoid placing the tripod on uneven or unstable surfaces.
5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe down the tripod with a soft, dry cloth after each use to remove dust and dirt. For stubborn grime, use a slightly damp cloth and mild soap, then dry thoroughly.
- Lubrication: Periodically check moving parts for smooth operation. If necessary, apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to hinges and locking mechanisms.
- Storage: Store the tripod in its provided carry bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
6. Troubleshooting
- Tripod is Unstable: Ensure all leg sections are fully extended and their lever locks are securely closed. Check that the center column locking knob is tight. Verify the quick release plate is properly seated and locked.
- Difficulty Adjusting Head: Loosen the pan and tilt locking knobs/handles sufficiently before attempting to adjust the head's position. Do not force movements.
- Camera Not Secure: Confirm the quick release plate is firmly screwed into your camera's tripod mount and that the plate is correctly inserted and locked into the pan head.
