Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or shipping.

  3. Assembly:
    • Place the food processor base on a stable, flat, and dry surface.
    • Carefully place the 6-quart Lexan® polycarbonate bowl onto the motor base, ensuring it clicks securely into place.
    • Insert the desired blade or disc onto the motor shaft inside the bowl. For the S-blade, ensure both pieces are properly aligned.
    • Place the continuous-feed hopper cover onto the bowl, aligning the tabs and rotating until it locks securely. The unit will not operate unless the cover is correctly locked.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the 5-15 Phase Plug into a compatible 120V electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

The Waring Commercial FP2200 is designed for continuous feed operation, allowing for high-volume processing. Always ensure the unit is properly assembled and locked before starting.

  1. Preparation: Cut food into pieces that fit easily into the feed chute. Do not overload the chute.
  2. Loading: For continuous feed, place food into the large feed chute. For batch processing with the S-blade, add ingredients directly into the bowl before securing the lid.
  3. Operation:
    • Turn the unit ON using the control panel.
    • For continuous feed, use the food pusher to guide ingredients through the feed chute. Apply even pressure. The 22 square inches of feed space accommodates larger items.
    • For tasks like chopping, pureeing, or emulsifying with the S-blade, use the PULSE function for controlled processing or the ON setting for continuous blending until desired consistency is achieved.
  4. Stopping: Turn the unit OFF when processing is complete or when changing blades/discs. Wait for all moving parts to stop before opening the lid or removing the bowl.
