Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance of your radar detector. Choose a location that provides a clear, unobstructed view of the road ahead and behind.

Mounting the Detector

The XRS9370 comes with a windshield mounting bracket. For best detection, mount the unit as low as possible on the front windshield without obstructing your view, ensuring the detector is level with the road.

  1. Clean the windshield area where you intend to mount the detector.
  2. Attach the suction cups to the mounting bracket.
  3. Press the suction cups firmly against the windshield to secure the bracket.
  4. Slide the detector onto the mounting bracket until it clicks into place.

Power Connection

Connect the small end of the provided 12V DC power cord into the power jack on the side of the detector. Plug the larger end into your vehicle's 12V accessory outlet (cigarette lighter socket).
