Setup

1. Unboxing

Carefully remove the Optimus Prime figure and any accessories from the packaging. Inspect the figure for any visible damage or missing parts. The figure comes pre-assembled and does not require batteries.

2. Initial Inspection

Before play, gently move the joints and transformation points to ensure they operate smoothly. If any part feels stiff, apply gentle, even pressure. Do not force any parts.

Operating: Transformation

The Optimus Prime figure can transform between robot mode and vehicle (truck) mode. Follow these steps carefully for smooth conversion.

Transforming from Robot Mode to Vehicle Mode

1. Position Arms: Fold the robot's arms inward towards the body. Ensure hands are tucked away if articulated.
2. Rotate Torso: Rotate the upper torso section to align with the intended vehicle front.
3. Collapse Legs: Bend the robot's legs at the knees and hips, then collapse them together. These will form the rear section of the truck.
4. Form Vehicle Cab: Adjust the chest and shoulder panels to form the front cab and hood of the truck.
5. Align Panels: Carefully align all panels and tabs to secure the figure in its complete vehicle mode. Ensure all parts click into place where applicable.

Transforming from Vehicle Mode to Robot Mode

1. Separate Sections: Gently unclip and separate the vehicle's front cab from the rear section.
2. Extend Legs: Unfold the rear section to extend the robot's legs. Straighten the knee and hip joints.
3. Unfold Arms: Separate the side panels of the vehicle to unfold the robot's arms. Position the arms at the shoulders.
4. Rotate Torso and Head: Rotate the torso to its upright robot position and flip up the robot's head.
5. Final Adjustments: Adjust all panels and joints to achieve the complete robot mode.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean the figure, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or excessive water, as these can damage the paint or plastic.

Storage

Store the figure in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause discoloration. Keep the figure away from dust and moisture to maintain its condition.

Troubleshooting

• Stiff Joints: If a joint is stiff, apply gentle, consistent pressure. Avoid forcing the joint, as this may cause breakage.
• Parts Not Aligning: Ensure all previous transformation steps have been completed correctly. Sometimes, a small adjustment in one area can affect alignment in another. Refer to the transformation steps.
• Loose Parts: If a part becomes loose, it may be designed to detach for transformation or articulation. If it's not meant to be loose, inspect for any damage.
