2. Safety Information
WARNING: To prevent electrical shock, always disconnect power before installing or servicing the timer.
- Ensure the timer is installed in a location protected from direct weather exposure if it is an indoor-only model. This model is designed for both indoor and outdoor use.
- Use only 24 VAC valves compatible with this timer.

4. Setup
4.1 Mounting the Timer
The timer can be mounted indoors or outdoors. Choose a location near a 120V AC electrical outlet and away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures. Ensure the location allows for easy access to wiring and programming.

4.2 Wiring the Timer
The Orbit Easy-Set Logic timer features a swing panel for easy access to wiring terminals. It is compatible with standard 18-gauge sprinkler wire with 5 or 7 strands/wires. The push-wire terminals allow for tool-less insertion and removal of wires.
- Connect the common wire from your sprinkler valves to the 'C' terminal. This is typically a white wire.
- Connect each zone wire from your sprinkler valves to the numbered station terminals (1-6).
- If using a rain/freeze sensor (sold separately), connect it to the designated sensor terminals.

5. Operating Instructions
The Easy-Set Logic dial allows for intuitive programming. Rotate the dial to the desired setting and use the arrow buttons to adjust values.
5.1 Setting Clock and Date
- Turn the dial to 'SET CLOCK'. Use the arrow buttons to set the current time (AM/PM).
- Turn the dial to 'SET DATE'. Use the arrow buttons to set the current year, month, and day.
5.2 Programming Watering Schedules (Programs A, B, C)
The timer allows for up to three independent watering programs (A, B, C). Each program can have up to four start times.
- Press the 'PROGRAM' button to select Program A, B, or C.
- Turn the dial to 'START TIME'. Set the desired start times for the selected program.
- Turn the dial to 'RUN TIME'. Set the watering duration for each station (zone) within the selected program.
- Turn the dial to 'HOW OFTEN'. Select the watering frequency (e.g., specific days of the week, odd/even days).
- Turn the dial to 'AUTO' to activate the programmed schedule.
5.3 Rain Delay Feature
The rain delay feature allows you to temporarily suspend watering for a set period (24, 48, or 72 hours) to conserve water during wet weather. Press the 'RAIN DELAY' button repeatedly to select the desired delay period.
5.4 Manual Run
To manually run a specific station or all stations for testing or supplemental watering:
- Turn the dial to 'ENTER MANUAL'.
- Use the arrow buttons to select the desired station or 'ALL' stations.
- Set the desired run time using the arrow buttons. The selected station(s) will begin watering immediately.

6. Maintenance
- Regularly check wiring connections for corrosion or damage.
- Ensure the locking door is kept closed to protect the internal components from weather and debris.
- The timer features a lithium battery backup to save your programmed settings during power outages. No user maintenance is required for this battery.
