Maintenance
Battery Replacement
The watch is powered by one Lithium-metal battery. The typical battery life is several years, but this can vary based on alarm and backlight usage. When the display becomes dim or functions become unreliable, it is time to replace the battery. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.
Water Resistance
This watch is water resistant up to 50 meters (5 ATM). This means it is suitable for everyday use and can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water, such as showering or swimming in shallow water. It is not suitable for diving or snorkeling. Do not operate buttons while the watch is wet or submerged, as this can compromise the water resistance.
Cleaning
Wipe the watch case and band with a soft, dry cloth. For resin bands, a mild soap solution and water can be used, followed by thorough rinsing and drying. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the watch's materials.
Troubleshooting
- Analog hands do not match digital time: Perform the "Adjusting the Analog Hands" procedure described in the Setup section.
- Digital display is dim or blank: The battery may be low or depleted. Replace the battery.
- Buttons are unresponsive: Ensure the watch is not wet. If the issue persists, a reset may be required (consult a service center), or the battery may be low.
- Watch loses time: This could indicate a low battery or a need for service.
