Operating Instructions

1. Keyboard Layout and Hotkeys

The GKM611B features a standard QWERTY layout along with dedicated hotkeys for quick access to common functions. These hotkeys are typically located at the top of the keyboard.

  • Volume Controls: Adjust volume up, down, or mute directly from the keyboard.
  • Navigation Keys: Dedicated keys for Home, End, Page Up, and Page Down.
  • Function Keys (F1-F12): These keys may have secondary functions when pressed in combination with the "Fn" key, often indicated by blue text on the keycaps.

2. Touchpad Usage

The integrated touchpad eliminates the need for a separate mouse. It supports standard cursor movement and clicking functions.

  • Cursor Movement: Slide your finger across the touchpad surface to move the cursor on your screen.
  • Left Click: Press the left button below the touchpad or tap the touchpad surface once.
  • Right Click: Press the right button below the touchpad.

3. Switching Between Devices

To switch between your paired Bluetooth devices, simply press the corresponding Bluetooth pairing key (e.g., F1, F2, F3, etc.) that you assigned during the initial pairing process. The keyboard will automatically connect to the selected device.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the keyboard surface. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid excessive moisture.
  • Battery Replacement: When the battery indicator light signals low power, replace the AA batteries promptly to ensure uninterrupted operation.
  • Storage: Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use for extended periods.
