2.2 Adjusting the Stainless Steel Band (Sliding Clasp)

The NIXON Time Teller A045 features a sliding clasp bracelet for adjustable sizing. A band sizing tool is typically included with your watch.

  1. Identify the Clasp: Locate the sliding clasp on the watch band.
  2. Open the Clasp Lock: Use the provided band sizing tool (or a small, flat-head tool) to gently pry open the small locking mechanism on the clasp. Insert the tip into the window of the clasp and apply slight pressure to lift the lock.
  3. Adjust the Clasp Position: Once unlocked, slide the clasp along the bracelet to achieve the desired fit. Slide it towards the watch case to make the band smaller, or away from the case to make it larger.
  4. Secure the Clasp: Once the desired position is found, firmly press the locking mechanism back down until it snaps into place. Ensure it is fully secured to prevent accidental opening.

The NIXON Time Teller A045 is an analog watch with a Miyota Japanese quartz 3-hand movement. Once the time is set, the watch operates continuously, displaying hours, minutes, and seconds.
