4. Setup & Installation
Follow these steps for secure installation of your umbra STICKS Multi Hook:
- Choose Location: Select a suitable wall location, ensuring it is free from electrical wires or plumbing.
- Marking: Hold the hook unit against the wall at the desired height. Use a pencil to mark the positions for the two mounting holes on the back of the unit. Ensure the unit is level before marking.
- Drilling Pilot Holes:
- For drywall: Drill pilot holes using a drill bit appropriate for the wall anchors. Insert the wall anchors into the drilled holes until flush with the wall surface.
- For wood studs: Drill pilot holes using a drill bit slightly smaller than the wood screws.
- Mounting the Unit: Align the mounting holes on the back of the umbra STICKS Multi Hook with the drilled holes/anchors. Insert the wood screws through the unit's mounting holes and tighten them securely into the wall anchors or wood studs. Do not overtighten.

- To Use a Hook: Gently pull down one of the "sticks" to reveal a hook.
- To Retract a Hook: Push the hook back up until it is flush with the main unit, creating a seamless appearance.
- Weight Limit: Each individual hook can support up to 1.5 kg (3.3 lbs). Do not exceed this weight limit per hook or the total unit capacity of 11.34 kg (25 lbs).
