Introduction
This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Bose Wave Music System with Multi-CD Changer. This system is designed to deliver high-quality audio and offers convenient features for enjoying your music collection.
The Wave Music System integrates an FM/AM radio and a CD player. When combined with the Multi-CD Changer, it allows for extended, uninterrupted playback of up to four CDs.

Setup
1. Placement
Place the Wave Music System and Multi-CD Changer on a stable, flat surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the units. The Multi-CD Changer is designed to sit directly beneath the Wave Music System.
2. Connecting the Multi-CD Changer
Connect the Multi-CD Changer to the Wave Music System using the supplied Bose link cable. This cable connects the "Bose link" output on the Wave Music System to the "Bose link" input on the Multi-CD Changer.
3. Power Connection
Plug the AC power cord into the "AC POWER input" on the Wave Music System, then into a wall outlet. The Multi-CD Changer receives power through the Bose link connection from the main unit.
4. Antenna Connection
Connect the FM antenna to the 75-ohm FM antenna connector on the rear of the Wave Music System for optimal radio reception.
5. Auxiliary Input (Optional)
To connect an external audio source (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone), use a 3.5 mm stereo audio cable (not included) to connect the device to the "AUX IN" jack on the Wave Music System. The Multi-CD Changer also provides an additional auxiliary input.
6. Headphone Connection (Optional)
For private listening, plug headphones into the "HEADPHONES" jack on the rear of the Wave Music System.

Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
Press the POWER button on the remote control to turn the system on or off.
2. Adjusting Volume
Use the VOLUME + or VOLUME - buttons on the remote control to adjust the sound level.
3. CD Playback
- Loading CDs: Insert a CD or MP3 CD into the slot on the front of the Wave Music System. For the Multi-CD Changer, insert up to three additional CDs into its slots.
- Selecting Source: Press the CD button on the remote control to select the CD player.
- Playback Controls: Use the PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, SKIP TRACK, and SCAN buttons on the remote for CD control.
- Multi-CD Changer Operation: The system will automatically play CDs in sequence from the changer. Use the remote to navigate between discs if desired.
4. Radio Operation (FM/AM)
- Selecting Source: Press the FM/AM button on the remote control to select the radio tuner.
- Tuning: Use the TUNE/PRESET buttons to manually tune or scan for stations.
- Saving Presets: Follow the instructions in the full user manual to save your favorite stations as presets.
5. Using Auxiliary Input
After connecting an external device to the AUX IN jack, press the AUX button on the remote control to switch to the auxiliary input source.

Maintenance
Cleaning the System
- Unplug the system from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior surfaces.
- Do not use liquid cleaners or sprays directly on the system.
- Avoid getting moisture into any openings.
CD Care
- Handle CDs by their edges to avoid fingerprints.
- Store CDs in their cases when not in use.
- Clean CDs with a soft, lint-free cloth, wiping from the center outwards.
Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure the AC power cord is securely plugged into both the system and a working wall outlet.
- No Sound: Check the volume level. Ensure the correct source (CD, FM/AM, AUX) is selected. Verify all cables are properly connected.
- CD Not Playing or Ejecting: If a CD is stuck or not playing, try unplugging the system from the power outlet for approximately 30 seconds, then plug it back in. This can sometimes reset the CD mechanism. Ensure CDs are clean and free of damage.
- Poor Radio Reception: Adjust the position of the FM antenna. Ensure it is fully extended and away from other electronic devices that may cause interference.
- Remote Control Not Working: Check the battery in the remote control and replace if necessary. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the system.
