Setup

Physical Installation
- Attach the Desk Stand: Align the desk stand with the slots on the back of the telephone unit and snap it into place.
- Connect the Handset: Plug one end of the coiled handset cord into the handset and the other end into the handset port on the telephone base.
- Connect to Network:
- Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the LAN port on the back of the telephone.
- Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to your network switch or router.
- If using a computer through the phone, connect a second Ethernet cable from the PC port on the phone to your computer's network port.
- Power On: The phone typically receives power over Ethernet (PoE). If PoE is not available, connect an optional power adapter (sold separately) to the power port on the phone.
- Initial Boot-up: The phone will power on and begin its boot-up sequence. This may take a few minutes as it connects to the network and registers with your IP PBX system.

Operating Instructions
Making and Receiving Calls
- To Make a Call: Lift the handset, press a line appearance button, or press the Speaker button, then dial the number.
- To Answer a Call: Lift the handset, press the Speaker button, or press the flashing line appearance button.
- To End a Call: Replace the handset or press the Speaker button if using speakerphone.
Keypad and Navigation
The telephone features a standard 12-button dial pad, along with dedicated function buttons and a navigation cluster.
- Navigation Cluster (OK button with arrows): Use the up, down, left, and right arrows to navigate menus and lists on the display. Press OK to select an item.
- Message Button: Access your voicemail messages.
- Phone/Exit Button: Return to the main phone screen or exit a menu.
- Menu Button: Access phone settings and options.
- Contacts Button: Access your personal and system contact directories.
- Call Log Button: View recent incoming, outgoing, and missed calls.
- Redial Button: Redial the last number called.
Call Management Features
- Hold: Press the HOLD button to place an active call on hold. Press the flashing line button to retrieve the call.
- Transfer: During an active call, press the TRANSFER button, dial the new number, and then press TRANSFER again to complete.
- Conference: During an active call, press the CONFERENCE button, dial the number of the party to add, and then press CONFERENCE again to join all parties.
- Mute: Press the MUTE button to mute your microphone during a call. Press again to unmute.
- Speaker: Press the SPEAKER button to use the speakerphone.
- Headset: Press the HEADSET button to use a connected headset.
- Volume: Use the VOLUME buttons to adjust the handset, speaker, or ringer volume.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Telephone
- Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the phone's exterior.
- For stubborn marks, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents.
- Avoid spraying liquids directly onto the phone.
Environmental Considerations
- Keep the telephone away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive moisture.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the device.
Troubleshooting
