4.1 Unpacking and Placement

Carefully remove the scanner from its packaging. Place the scanner on a stable, flat surface with adequate space for document feeding and output. Ensure the power switch is in the OFF position before connecting cables.

4.2 Connecting Cables

  1. Connect the power cable to the AC adapter, then plug the adapter into the scanner's power input. Plug the other end of the power cable into a wall outlet.
  2. Connect the USB cable to the USB port on the scanner and then to an available USB port on your computer.

  1. Ensure documents are properly loaded in the ADF.
  2. Open the scanning software on your computer (e.g., PaperStream Capture).
  3. Select your desired scanning profile (e.g., color, monochrome, duplex, resolution). The scanner supports up to 600 dpi optical resolution and fast duplex scanning.
  4. Press the Scan/Stop button on the scanner's control panel or initiate the scan from the software.
  5. The scanner will feed and scan the documents. The ultrasonic double-feed detection helps prevent multiple sheets from being scanned as one.
  6. Once scanning is complete, the scanned images will appear in your software for review and saving.
