3. Setup

The Origami 3-Tier Shelf is designed for quick and easy setup, requiring no tools. It comes pre-assembled, so you just need to unfold it.

Assembly Steps:

1. Carefully remove the folded shelving unit from its packaging.
2. Place the unit on a flat, stable surface.
3. Gently pull the sides of the unit apart to begin unfolding. The shelves will start to drop into place.
4. Locate the patented Origami connection clip (often found on the middle shelf support). Securely engage this clip to lock the main frame in its open position.
5. Flip down the top shelf and ensure it locks into place with its respective latch mechanism.
6. If not already attached, install the four professional-grade caster wheels into the designated slots at the bottom of the unit. Two of these wheels feature a smart-lock function for stability.
7. Verify that all shelves are flat and stable, and all locking mechanisms are engaged before placing items on the unit.

4. Operating Instructions

Using the Rolling Feature:

The Origami shelf is equipped with four durable caster wheels for easy movement. To move the shelf, simply unlock the two smart-lock wheels by flipping their levers upwards. Once unlocked, you can effortlessly roll the unit to your desired location. To secure the shelf in place, push the levers on the smart-lock wheels downwards until they click, preventing unintended movement.

Folding for Storage:

To fold the shelf for compact storage, first ensure all items are removed from the shelves. Then, disengage the top shelf latch and the patented Origami connection clip. Gently push the sides of the unit inwards until it collapses flat. This design allows for convenient storage in tight spaces like closets, under beds, or behind doors.

Versatile Use:

5. Maintenance

To maintain the appearance and longevity of your Origami 3-Tier Shelf, simply wipe it with a dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these may damage the powder-coated finish.

6. Troubleshooting

• Shelf is wobbly after assembly: Ensure all locking mechanisms (patented connection clip and top shelf latch) are fully engaged. Check that the unit is placed on a flat, level surface.
• Wheels not rolling smoothly: Check for any debris or obstructions in the wheels. Ensure the smart-lock levers are in the unlocked position.
• Difficulty folding/unfolding: Ensure no items are on the shelves. Verify that all latches and clips are disengaged before attempting to fold. Do not force the unit.
• Shelf appears to be bending: Immediately remove items from the shelf. Check if the weight exceeds the stated capacity (75 lbs per shelf with wheels, 250 lbs per shelf without wheels). Redistribute weight evenly.
