DO NOT USE HAIR OIL, GREASE, OR ANY OIL MIXED WITH KEROSENE OR ANY SOLVENT.
3. Power Connection (Main Clipper)
The main clipper operates on corded electric power. Ensure the voltage in your home matches the specifications on the clipper. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
4. Battery Installation (Detail Trimmer)
The detail trimmer requires batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment, insert the correct type and number of batteries, ensuring correct polarity, and close the compartment securely.
Operating Instructions
1. Selecting Attachment Combs
The kit includes various guide combs for different cutting lengths. Select the desired comb and securely attach it to the clipper or trimmer blade. Always start with a longer comb if you are unsure of the desired length.

2. Using the Taper Lever (Main Clipper)
The taper lever on the main clipper allows for blending and customized cutting lengths without changing guide combs. Move the lever up for a closer cut and down for a longer cut. This is useful for fading and blending hair.

3. Grooming Techniques
For best results, always cut against the direction of hair growth. Use smooth, overlapping strokes. The main clipper is ideal for overall hair cutting, while the detail trimmer is perfect for:
- Cleaning up necklines
- Trimming sideburns
- Detailing around the ears
- Total body grooming

Maintenance
1. Cleaning Blades
After each use, brush loose hairs from the blades using the provided cleaning brush. For a more thorough cleaning, the blades can be removed (refer to specific instructions in the full manual for blade removal and reattachment) and rinsed under water, ensuring they are completely dry before reattaching and oiling.
2. Regular Oiling
As mentioned in the setup section, regular oiling of the blades is crucial for maintaining cutting performance and preventing rust. Oil the blades every few haircuts.
3. Storage
Store the grooming kit and all its accessories in a clean, dry place. Ensure the blades are oiled before storing for extended periods.
Troubleshooting
1. Clipper is Too Noisy / Excessive Clattering
If your clipper produces excessive noise or clattering, the power screw may need adjustment. This adjustment was made at the factory, but voltage fluctuations can sometimes require readjustment.
- Turn your clipper to the "ON" position.
- Using the end of the cleaning brush or a screwdriver, turn the power screw in a COUNTER-CLOCKWISE direction until the clatter sound goes away.
For Maximum Power Setting:
- Turn your clipper to the "ON" position.
- Use the end of the cleaning brush or a screwdriver to turn the power screw in a CLOCKWISE direction until you hear a clattering noise.
- Then, turn the power screw in the opposite direction (COUNTER-CLOCKWISE) until the clattering stops.

2. Poor Cutting Performance
- Ensure blades are clean and free of hair debris.
- Apply blade oil as instructed.
- Check if the attachment comb is securely fastened.
- For the detail trimmer, replace batteries if they are low.
3. Power Issues
- For the main clipper, ensure the power cord is fully plugged into a working outlet.
- For the detail trimmer, check battery orientation and replace with fresh batteries if needed.
