Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all items from the packaging. Retain packaging for storage or future transport.
- Battery Installation:
Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clipper. Open the compartment and insert one AA battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.

- Initial Blade Oiling: Before first use, apply a few drops of the included blade oil to the clipper blades. Turn the clipper on for a few seconds to distribute the oil. Wipe off any excess oil.
- Selecting a Guide Comb: Choose the desired guide comb based on the hair length you wish to achieve. The combs are typically numbered or sized. Snap the chosen comb securely onto the clipper blades.
Operating Instructions
- Preparation: Ensure hair is clean and dry. Comb hair in the direction of growth to remove tangles.
- Turning On/Off: Slide the power switch located on the side of the clipper to the "ON" position to start. Slide it to "OFF" to stop.
- Trimming Technique:
- Hold the clipper with the blades pointing upwards, against the direction of hair growth.
- Use light, even strokes. Do not force the clipper through the hair.
- For touch-ups around ears and necklines, use the clipper without a guide comb for a closer trim, or a small guide comb for blending.
- Regularly clear accumulated hair from the blades during use to maintain optimal performance.
- Blending: To achieve a blended look, start with a longer guide comb and gradually switch to shorter combs as you move down the head or around the edges.
Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your Wahl Cordless Mini Pro clipper.
- Cleaning Blades: After each use, turn off the clipper and remove the guide comb. Use the cleaning brush to brush away loose hairs from the blades.
- Oiling Blades: After cleaning, apply 2-3 drops of Wahl Clipper Oil across the top of the blades. Turn the clipper on for a few seconds to distribute the oil, then wipe off any excess with a soft cloth. This should be done after every few uses or as needed.
- Blade Care: The high-carbon steel blades are precision ground to stay sharp longer. Avoid dropping the clipper or striking the blades against hard surfaces, as this can damage them.
- Storage: Store the clipper and all accessories in the provided drawstring storage pouch in a cool, dry place. Ensure the blade guard is in place when storing to protect the blades.
