Setup and Installation

This flood light is designed for quick mount installation on an outdoor electrical box. Professional installation is recommended if you are not experienced with electrical wiring.

Installation Steps:

1. Turn Off Power: Locate the circuit breaker controlling the outdoor electrical box and turn off the power. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
2. Prepare Mounting Surface: Ensure the electrical box is clean, dry, and securely mounted to the wall or ceiling.
3. Attach Mounting Plate: Secure the fixture's mounting plate to the electrical box using the provided screws.
4. Wire Connections:
   • Connect the black wire from the fixture to the black (hot) wire from the electrical box using a wire nut.
   • Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the electrical box using a wire nut.
   • Connect the green or bare copper ground wire from the fixture to the ground wire from the electrical box and the ground screw on the mounting plate.

   Ensure all wire connections are secure and insulated with electrical tape if necessary.

5. Mount Fixture: Carefully push the wired fixture onto the mounting plate, aligning the screw holes. Secure the fixture to the mounting plate with the provided screws.
6. Install Bulb: Screw in a PAR38 type bulb (max 150W, E26 base) into the socket. Do not overtighten.
7. Adjust Direction: Loosen the adjustment knob on the side of the fixture to aim the flood light as desired. Tighten the knob to secure the position.
8. Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.

Operating Instructions

The Nuvo SF76/683 flood light operates via a standard wall switch or compatible control system connected to its power source. There are no integrated controls on the fixture itself.

• Turning On/Off: Use the connected wall switch to turn the flood light on or off.
• Adjusting Light Direction: To change the direction of the light, carefully loosen the adjustment knob on the side of the fixture, reposition the light head, and then securely tighten the knob.
