4.2 Cleaning
Clean the exterior of the safe box with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish or electronic components.
4.3 Key Storage
Store your backup keys in a secure location away from the safe box. Do not store them inside the safe, as they are essential for emergency access.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1 Safe Does Not Open with Digital Code
- Incorrect Combination: Ensure you are entering the correct 3-8 digit combination.
- Low Batteries: If the red light flashes rapidly, replace the batteries as described in section 4.1.
- Time Limit Exceeded: After entering the code, you have 5 seconds to turn the knob. Try again, ensuring you turn the knob promptly.
5.2 Loose Battery Cover
If the battery cover inside the lid is loose, the batteries may dislodge, causing loss of power to the digital keypad. Ensure the cover is securely fastened after battery installation. If the cover is damaged, contact customer support.
