Setup

Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Initial Placement

Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface to ensure accurate readings. Avoid placing it on soft or uneven surfaces, which can affect precision.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

• To turn the scale ON, press the ON/OFF TARE button. The display will illuminate and show '0'.
• The scale features a 3-minute automatic shut-off to conserve battery life.
• To manually turn the scale OFF, press and hold the ON/OFF TARE button for a few seconds until the display turns off.

Unit Conversion

The scale can display measurements in pounds (lbs), kilograms (kg), grams (g), and ounces (oz).

• Press the UNIT button to cycle through the available measurement units.
• The selected unit will be indicated on the LCD display.

Tare Function

The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, providing the net weight of the ingredients.

1. Place an empty container on the weighing platform. The display will show the container's weight.
2. Press the ON/OFF TARE button. The display will reset to '0'.
3. Add your ingredients to the container. The display will now show only the weight of the ingredients.
4. To tare multiple ingredients, add the first ingredient, press ON/OFF TARE, then add the next ingredient.
