Upon unboxing, ensure all components are present: the Posture Pump 1100-S Single Air Cell Hydrator Pump, the printed instruction manual, and the product brochure. Place the device on a firm, flat surface such as a carpeted floor. Avoid using it on soft surfaces like a bed, as this may hinder its effectiveness.

Operating Instructions

Follow these instructions carefully for optimal results and safety. Always begin with the warm-up routine.

Warm-Up Routine:

  1. Begin by slowly turning your head side-to-side 5 times, lifting the head forward and backward 5 times, then leaning the neck from side-to-side 5 times.

Instructions for Posture Pump® Hydrator® (Model 1100-S):

  1. After warm-up routine, place deflated unit on a carpeted floor or other firm surface. Lie down with the button on the pump and squeezing air cell(s) underneath your upper back.
  2. Inflate unit slowly, gently, and comfortably until the unit is firm. Do not over-inflate.
  3. Apply Comfort Visor™ by centering it across your forehead. Adjust the Comfort Visor™ straps so they are snug, but not too tight.
  4. Gently pump the unit 10-15 times, holding each inflation for 7-10 seconds. Release completely between pumps.
  5. After pumping, remain lying on the unit for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Slowly deflate the unit and remove it from under your neck.
  7. Perform cool-down exercises: Gently turn your head side-to-side, forward and backward, and ear-to-shoulder stretches.

Air Cell Positional Adjustments:

To help restore the natural cervical curve, position the unit so the air cell is under the curve of your neck. For individuals with a "military neck" or straight neck, the unit should be placed lower on the neck to encourage the curve. For those with a "hump" or forward head posture, the unit should be placed higher on the neck.

Frequency of Use:

It is recommended to start with shorter durations and lower inflation pressures, gradually increasing as your neck acclimates. Most users find daily use beneficial. If muscles are sore, reduce intensity or take a day off.
