  • Confirm the dimmer is installed on the 120V AC input (primary) side of the transformer.
  • While the transformer supports a 1W minimum load, ensure the connected LED load is sufficient and stable for the dimmer.
Transformer feels hot.
  • Normal operation (slight warmth).
  • Overload.
  • Poor ventilation.
  • A slight warmth is normal during operation.
  • Ensure the total wattage of connected lights does not exceed 60W. Reduce load if necessary.
  • Ensure the transformer is in a well-ventilated area and not covered.
