5. Maintenance
All-Weather Durability
The Atrium 5 speakers are built with marine-grade waterproof construction and UV protection. To clean, use a soft cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish or components. The speakers are water resistant, but direct high-pressure water jets should be avoided.
Grille and Hardware
The aluminum grilles and stainless steel/brass hardware are designed to resist rust. Periodically inspect the mounting hardware for any signs of wear or loosening and tighten as necessary to ensure the speakers remain securely in place.
6. Troubleshooting
Common Issues
- No Sound: Verify that the speaker wires are securely connected to both the speakers and the amplifier. Ensure the amplifier is powered on and the correct input source is selected. Check the power source for the amplifier.
- Distorted Sound: Reduce the volume on your amplifier and audio source. Ensure the speaker wires are not frayed or short-circuiting. Confirm that the amplifier's output power is compatible with the speakers' maximum input power.
- Intermittent Sound: Check all wired connections for looseness or corrosion. Ensure the speaker wire is not damaged.
