Introduction

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your Rayovac PS3 Multi All Size Charger. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the charger and retain it for future reference. This charger is designed to recharge specific types of rechargeable batteries.

Important Safety Instructions

WARNING: To reduce the risk of injury, charge only rechargeable batteries. Do not attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries. Charging non-rechargeable batteries may cause them to leak, rupture, or explode, resulting in personal injury and property damage.

  • Charge only rechargeable Alkaline, Nickel Cadmium (NiCd), or Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries.
  • DO NOT mix battery types during charging. For example, do not charge NiMH and Alkaline batteries simultaneously.
  • NEVER charge single-use alkaline batteries such as Rayovac Maximum®, Energizer®, or Duracell®. These batteries are not designed for recharging and can cause severe hazards.
  • Risk of Electric Shock: Use this charger in dry locations only. Do not expose to rain or moisture.
  • NiMH and NiCd batteries may become hot during charging. When charging these battery types, leave the charger lid OPEN to reduce heat buildup.
  • Close the lid when charging Rechargeable Alkaline (RENEWAL®) batteries.
  • Ensure proper battery polarity. Insert batteries with the negative (-) end against the sliding metal bar and the positive (+) end facing the (+) symbol on the charger.
  • Unplug the charger from the outlet when not in use.
