5. Operating Instructions

- Prepare the Liquid: Ensure the liquid you wish to measure is in a suitable container, such as a baby bottle.
- Activate Thermometer: Press the "ON/OFF" button to turn on the thermometer.
- Insert Probe: Carefully insert the metal probe into the liquid. Ensure the tip of the probe is fully submerged and not touching the bottom or sides of the container, as this can affect accuracy.
- Read Temperature: Wait a few seconds for the reading on the large digital display to stabilize. The thermometer has a response time of 500 milliseconds, providing a quick reading.
- Remove and Clean: Once the temperature is read, carefully remove the probe from the liquid. Clean the probe immediately after use as per the Maintenance section.

- Battery Replacement: To replace the battery, locate the battery compartment on the back of the thermometer. Use a small screwdriver to open it, replace the old battery with a new 1 A battery, ensuring correct polarity, and securely close the compartment.
