Operating Instructions
Jump Starting a Vehicle
- Ensure the vehicle's ignition is off.
- Connect the red (positive) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
- Connect the black (negative) clamp to a non-moving metal part of the vehicle's frame, away from the battery.
- Turn on the jump starter's power switch. If an improper connection is detected, the reverse polarity alarm will sound.
- Attempt to start the vehicle. If it doesn't start immediately, wait a few minutes and try again.
- Once the vehicle starts, turn off the jump starter's power switch.
- Disconnect the black (negative) clamp first, then the red (positive) clamp.
