Setup and Installation
Unpacking
Carefully remove the cabinet from its packaging. Inspect the cabinet for any signs of damage. Ensure all components, including the keys and mounting hardware, are present before proceeding with installation.
Mounting the Cabinet
For optimal security and stability, the cabinet must be securely mounted to a floor or wall. The cabinet features pre-drilled mounting holes for this purpose.
- Choose Location: Select a suitable, discreet location for the cabinet, preferably in an area with limited unauthorized access.
- Mark Holes: Position the cabinet in the desired location and use the pre-drilled holes on the back or bottom of the cabinet to mark the drilling points on the wall or floor.
- Drill Pilot Holes: Drill pilot holes into the marked locations using an appropriate drill bit for your mounting surface (e.g., wood studs, concrete).
- Secure Cabinet: Align the cabinet with the drilled holes and secure it using the provided mounting hardware. Ensure all fasteners are tightened securely to prevent movement.

Operating Instructions
Locking and Unlocking
The GCB-910 cabinet is equipped with a 3-point locking system and a key-coded, double-bitted lock for secure access control.
- To Unlock: Insert the key into the lock cylinder. Turn the key clockwise to the unlock position. Pull the door open.
- To Lock: Close the door firmly. Insert the key into the lock cylinder and turn it counter-clockwise to the lock position. Remove the key and store it in a secure, separate location away from the cabinet.

Interior Configuration
The cabinet's interior is designed for flexible and protective storage.
- Removable Shelf: The included shelf can be positioned towards the back of the cabinet to allow for storage of longer firearms in the front. It can also be removed entirely to accommodate taller items or different storage needs.
- Foam-Padded Barrel Rests: These rests are designed to cradle your firearms, preventing scratches and keeping them organized and upright.
- Foam Padded Bottom: The bottom of the cabinet features foam padding to protect the stocks and finishes of your firearms.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and proper function of your security cabinet.
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior and interior surfaces of the cabinet with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish.
- Lock Mechanism: Periodically check the lock for smooth operation. If the key becomes stiff or difficult to turn, apply a small amount of graphite lubricant (not oil-based) into the keyhole.
- Mounting Hardware: Regularly inspect all mounting hardware to ensure it remains tight and secure. Re-tighten any loose fasteners to maintain stability.
- Interior Padding: Check the foam padding for wear or damage. Replace if necessary to continue protecting your firearms.
Troubleshooting
Door Does Not Close Properly
- Check for any obstructions inside the cabinet or along the door frame that might be preventing it from closing fully.
- Ensure the cabinet is level and securely mounted. An uneven installation can cause the door to misalign.
Key Is Stiff or Hard to Turn
- Apply a small amount of graphite lubricant to the keyhole. Do not use oil-based lubricants.
- Ensure the key is fully inserted into the lock cylinder before attempting to turn it. Do not force the key.
Cabinet Appears Unstable
- Verify that the cabinet is securely mounted to the floor or wall using all provided hardware.
- Re-tighten any loose fasteners on the mounting hardware.
