4. Setup

Follow these steps for initial setup of your GRAEF H9 H9EU All-Purpose Slicer:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials.
  2. Placement: Place the slicer on a clean, dry, and stable countertop. Press down firmly on the top of the slicer to engage the suction rubber feet, ensuring maximum stability.

  2. Secure Food: Use the food holder/finger protection to firmly press the food against the guide plate. This keeps your fingers safe and ensures even slicing.

  4. Engage Blade: Ensure the blade is clear of any obstructions.
  5. Crank Operation: With one hand, firmly hold the food holder and push the carriage forward towards the blade. Simultaneously, use your other hand to turn the crank handle in a smooth, continuous motion. The serrated blade will slice through the food.

  7. Collecting Slices: Sliced food will fall onto the collection tray beneath the blade.
  8. For Larger Items: For very large food items that do not fit comfortably on the carriage, the removable carriage can be detached. Exercise extreme caution if operating without the carriage and always keep hands clear of the blade.
