Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all parts are present: main pedestal unit, two microphones, power adapter, and included demo CD/CD+G disc.
2. Assembly: Assemble the pedestal unit according to the diagrams in the quick start guide (if applicable). Ensure all connections are secure.
3. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the DC IN jack on the unit and then plug it into a standard electrical outlet (120 Volts).
4. Microphone Connection: Plug the microphones into the MIC 1 and MIC 2 jacks on the unit.
5. External Connections (Optional): If connecting to an external TV or audio system, use appropriate audio/video cables (not included) to connect the unit's output jacks to your external device's input jacks.

Operating Instructions

Playing CD/CD+G Discs:

1. Open the CD compartment and insert a CD or CD+G disc with the label side facing up. Close the compartment.
2. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playback.
3. If playing a CD+G disc, lyrics will appear on the 7" LCD screen.
4. Use the SKIP buttons to navigate between tracks.

Using the Microphones:

• Ensure microphones are securely plugged in.
• Adjust the MIC VOLUME knob to control the microphone's output level.
• Adjust the ECHO control for vocal effects.

Digital Key Control:

• While a song is playing, use the KEY+ and KEY- buttons to raise or lower the musical key of the song.
• This feature helps match the song's pitch to your vocal range.

Karaokevision Video Camera:

• The built-in camera allows you to see yourself on the 7" LCD screen while performing.
• Ensure adequate lighting for best camera performance.

iPod Compatibility:

• Carefully dock your compatible iPod device into the integrated iPod dock.
• Use the system's controls to play music from your iPod.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Disc Care: Handle discs by their edges. Keep them clean and free of scratches. Store them in their cases when not in use.
