4. Operating Instructions
Before first use, it is recommended to watch the instructional DVD for a visual guide.
Video 4.1: Official instructional video demonstrating the use and features of the Encore Deluxe Battery and Manual Vacuum Erection Device.
4.1 General Usage
- Place the lubricated cylinder over the penis, ensuring a tight seal against the body.
- Begin pumping to create a vacuum.
- Once an erection is achieved, carefully slide the constriction ring from the base of the cylinder onto the base of the penis.
- Remove the cylinder. The constriction ring should remain at the base of the penis to maintain the erection.
- The constriction ring should not be worn for more than 30 minutes.
4.2 Using the Manual Pump
Attach the manual pump to the cylinder. Squeeze the pump bulb repeatedly to create a vacuum. A release valve is typically present to relieve pressure if needed.
4.3 Using the Battery-Powered Pump
Attach the battery-powered pump to the cylinder. Activate the pump according to its specific controls (e.g., power button). The pump will automatically create a vacuum. Ensure batteries are fresh for optimal performance.
4.4 Removing the Constriction Ring
After use, or if discomfort occurs, use the ring ejector sleeve to safely and effortlessly remove the constriction ring from the base of the penis. Do not pull or force the ring off without using the ejector or appropriate technique.
5. Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning: After each use, disassemble the cylinder, pumps, and rings. Wash all components with mild soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before storage. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Lubricant: Replenish lubricant as needed. Only use water-based lubricants compatible with medical devices.
- Storage: Store all components in the provided discreet carrying case in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
6. Troubleshooting
- No Vacuum or Weak Vacuum:
- Check all connections between the pump and cylinder for a secure fit.
- Ensure sufficient lubricant is applied to create a tight seal against the body.
- For battery pump: Check battery levels and replace if necessary.
- Inspect the cylinder and pump for any cracks or damage that could compromise the seal.
- Difficulty Achieving Erection:
- Ensure proper technique as described in the operating instructions and instructional video.
- Verify that the chosen constriction ring size is appropriate.
- Consult a healthcare professional if issues persist.
- Discomfort During Use:
- Release the vacuum immediately if pain or severe discomfort occurs.
- Ensure adequate lubrication.
- Re-evaluate constriction ring size; a different size may be more comfortable.
