2. Assembly

  1. Place the fountain base on your desired level surface.
  2. Carefully attach the mirror panel to the base, ensuring it is securely seated.
  3. Connect the submersible pump to the water hose located inside the fountain base. Ensure a tight seal.
  4. Place the pump inside the water reservoir at the bottom of the fountain. Ensure the pump is positioned on the foam padding provided to minimize vibration and noise.

3. Placement

For outdoor use, ensure it is protected from extreme weather conditions and placed near a suitable electrical outlet.

4. Filling the Fountain

Fill the reservoir with clean, distilled water. The water level should be sufficient to completely submerge the pump and cover the water holes at the top of the mirror panel. This ensures proper water flow and prevents the pump from running dry, which can cause damage and noise.

Operating Your Fountain

1. Powering On/Off

Once the fountain is assembled and filled with water, plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The pump will begin circulating water, and the LED lights will illuminate. To turn off the fountain, simply unplug the power adapter from the outlet.

2. Continuous Operation

For optimal performance and to prevent water marks on the mirror, it is recommended to keep the fountain running continuously. If the fountain is turned off, ensure the mirror is cleaned with the provided cloth once dry to avoid residue buildup.

Care and Maintenance

Regular maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your fountain.

1. Water Level

Check the water level daily, especially in dry environments or during continuous operation, as water evaporates. Refill with distilled water as needed to keep the pump fully submerged and ensure even water flow across the mirror. Uneven water flow is often an indication that more water is required.

2. Cleaning

  • Mirror Panel: Use the provided cleaning cloth and a glass cleaner to wipe down the mirror panel regularly, especially if water marks appear.
  • Water Holes: If water flow becomes uneven, use the provided brush or a soft toothbrush to gently clean the water distribution holes at the top of the mirror panel.
  • Reservoir: Periodically drain and clean the water reservoir to remove any debris or sediment.

3. Algae Prevention

To prevent algae growth, especially in warmer climates or outdoor settings, consider adding a small amount of algaecide specifically designed for fountains to the water weekly. Follow the product instructions for dosage.

4. Pump Care

The submersible pump should be cleaned periodically to remove any mineral buildup or debris that may affect its performance. Disconnect the power, remove the pump, and clean it according to the pump manufacturer's instructions. Ensure the pump is placed on its foam padding and not touching the sides of the reservoir when reinstalled to prevent excessive noise.

5. Winterization/Storage (Outdoor Use)

For outdoor fountains, drain all water and store the fountain indoors in a dry, frost-free location during winter months to prevent damage from freezing temperatures.
