Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the printer and all accessories from the box. Remove all protective tapes and packing materials from the printer.
- Power Connection: Connect the power supply to the printer and then plug the adapter cord into a wall outlet.
- Ink Cartridge Installation: Open the printer access door and install the KODAK Black and Color Ink Cartridges into their designated slots. Ensure they are securely latched.
- Paper Loading: Load paper into the input tray. The intelligent paper sensor will automatically adjust settings based on the paper type.
- Software Installation: Insert the KODAK All-in-One Printer Software CD into your computer's CD-ROM drive and follow the on-screen instructions to install the necessary drivers and software. A USB 2.0 cable (sold separately) is required to connect the printer to your computer.
Operating Instructions
Printing
- Document Printing: Send documents from your computer to the printer. The printer supports speeds up to 30 pages per minute (ppm) for black and 29 ppm for color.
- Photo Printing: Print photos up to 8.5 x 11 inches. Borderless 4x6 inch photos can be printed in approximately 29 seconds.
- Two-Sided Printing: Utilize the manual two-sided printing feature through the printer software to save paper.
- Multiple Pages Per Sheet: Print multiple pages on a single sheet of paper using the software settings.
Copying
- One-Touch Color Copy: Place your document on the scanner glass and use the printer's control panel for one-touch color copying without requiring a computer.
- Copy Speed: Draft copy speed is 25 copies per minute (cpm) for both black and color.
Scanning
- Document and Photo Scanning: Scan documents and photos up to 8.5 x 11.7 inches.
- Multiple Picture Scanning: Scan several pictures at once; the software will automatically create separate image files.
- Optical Character Recognition (OCR): Use the included software to scan and edit documents with OCR functionality (Windows OS only).
- Image Enhancement: The software includes features to reduce the appearance of blemishes and enhance facial features in scanned images (Windows OS only).
Control Panel and Connectivity
- The printer features a 1.5-inch LCD for easy navigation and status display.
- Memory card and USB slots allow for direct printing without a computer.
Maintenance
- Ink Cartridge Replacement: When an ink cartridge is low or empty, the printer will indicate this on the LCD or through the software. Follow the on-screen instructions or refer to the Startup Guide for safe and proper replacement. Ensure to use genuine KODAK ink cartridges for optimal performance.
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the exterior of the printer with a soft, damp cloth. Refer to the User Guide for instructions on cleaning internal components, such as the printhead or scanner glass, if print quality issues arise.
Troubleshooting

- Paper Jams: If paper jams occur, carefully open the printer covers and remove any jammed paper following the instructions in the User Guide. Ensure paper is loaded correctly and not overfilled.

Warranty Information
KODAK provides the following limited warranties for the ESP 3250 All-in-One Printer:
- Product: One year from purchase (with proof of purchase) or 13 months from date of manufacture.
- Printhead: One year from purchase (with proof of purchase) or 13 months from date of manufacture.
- Ink Cartridges: One year from purchase (with proof of purchase). This warranty does not cover empty or refilled cartridges, or cartridges that have been tampered with or misused.
Kodak's sole obligation in the event of defects in materials, workmanship, or packaging is to provide a comparable replacement product. In no event shall Kodak be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
