2. Safety Information

Always observe the following safety precautions:

  • Power Off: Always ensure the power supply to the fixture is turned off before installing, removing, or handling the bulb.
  • Avoid Direct Contact: Do not touch the glass part of the halogen bulb with bare hands. Oils from your skin can create hot spots, leading to premature bulb failure. Use a clean cloth or gloves during installation.
  • Correct Voltage: Ensure the fixture's voltage matches the bulb's voltage (12V). Using an incorrect voltage can damage the bulb or fixture.
  • Heat: Halogen bulbs operate at high temperatures. Allow the bulb to cool completely before handling. Keep flammable materials away from the bulb.

  2. Allow Cooling: If replacing an existing bulb, allow it to cool completely before touching.
  3. Handle with Care: Using a clean cloth or gloves, carefully remove the new halogen bulb from its packaging. Avoid touching the glass envelope directly with bare hands.
  4. Insert Bulb: Align the two pins of the G6.35 base with the corresponding holes in the fixture's socket. Gently push the bulb straight into the socket until it is firmly seated. Do not force the bulb.
