This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Westclox Plasma LED Alarm Clock, Model 70014. Setup
1. Power Connection
- Connect the included USB-C cable to the "POWER IN" port on the back of the alarm clock.
- Plug the other end of the USB-C cable into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) and then into a wall outlet. The display will illuminate.
2. Battery Installation (for Backup)
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the clock.
- Open the compartment and insert 1 AAA battery (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment. This battery will maintain time settings during power interruptions.

Operating Instructions
1. Setting the Time
- Press and hold the "TIME SET" button (located on the back or top, refer to Figure 2). The hour digits will begin to flash.
- Use the "HOUR" button to adjust the hour. Pay attention to the PM indicator light.
- Press the "TIME SET" button again. The minute digits will flash.
- Use the "MINUTE" button to adjust the minutes.
- Press the "TIME SET" button one more time to confirm and exit time setting mode.
2. Setting the Alarm
- Press and hold the "ALARM SET" button (located on the back or top, refer to Figure 2). The alarm hour digits will begin to flash.
- Use the "HOUR" button to adjust the alarm hour. Ensure the correct AM/PM is selected.
- Press the "ALARM SET" button again. The alarm minute digits will flash.
- Use the "MINUTE" button to adjust the alarm minutes.
- Press the "ALARM SET" button one more time to confirm and exit alarm setting mode.
- To activate the alarm, slide the "ALARM ON/OFF" switch to the "ON" position. An alarm indicator light will appear on the display.
3. Snooze Function
When the alarm sounds, press the large "SNOOZE" button on the top of the clock. The alarm will temporarily pause and sound again after approximately 9 minutes.

4. Display Dimmer
The clock features three display brightness levels: Bright, Medium, and Dim. To adjust the brightness, locate the "DIMMER" switch or button (refer to Figure 2) and cycle through the options until your desired brightness is achieved.
5. USB Charging
The clock includes a USB Type-C "CHARGE OUT" port. Connect your smartphone or other compatible device to this port using its charging cable to utilize the clock as a charging station.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the clock. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace the AAA backup battery annually or if you notice time discrepancies during power outages.
- Storage: If storing the clock for an extended period, remove the backup battery to prevent leakage.
