Operating Instructions

Cooking with Your Slow Cooker:

  1. Prepare Food: Prepare your ingredients according to your recipe. Place food into the stoneware pots. Do not overfill; leave at least 1 inch of space from the rim.
  2. Cover: Place the glass lids onto the stoneware pots. Ensure the lids are properly seated.
  3. Select Temperature: Plug the unit into a 220V electrical outlet. Turn the individual control knobs for each pot to your desired setting:
LOW: For slow, gentle cooking over an extended period.
HIGH: For faster cooking. One hour on HIGH is approximately equal to 2 to 2.5 hours on LOW.
WARM: Use only after food is cooked to maintain serving temperature. Do not use the WARM setting for cooking.
  4. Cooking Time: Follow your recipe's recommended cooking times. Avoid lifting the lid frequently during cooking, as this allows heat to escape and extends cooking time.
  5. Serving: Once cooking is complete, you can switch the setting to WARM for serving. The stoneware pots can be removed from the heating base and placed directly on a heat-resistant surface for serving.
  6. Storage: After cooling, the stoneware pots with leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator.

Note: The stoneware pots are not designed for use on the stovetop or in a conventional oven. Always use the heating base provided.

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning:

  1. Always unplug the slow cooker and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Stoneware Pots and Lids: These are dishwasher safe or can be washed by hand with warm, soapy water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that may scratch the surface.
  3. Heating Base: Wipe the exterior of the heating base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Never immerse the heating base in water or any other liquid.
  4. Stubborn Residue: If food sticks to the stoneware, fill the pot with warm, soapy water and let it soak for a few hours before cleaning. A plastic or nylon scouring pad can be used if necessary.

Storage:

Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing. Store the slow cooker assembled or with the stoneware pots and lids inverted inside the heating base to save space. Store in a dry place.
