2. Safety Information
WARNING: Must be at least 18 & over to purchase.
Always treat your airsoft gun as if it were a real firearm. Follow all local laws and regulations regarding airsoft gun ownership and use. Always wear appropriate eye protection when operating or near an airsoft gun. Never point an airsoft gun at anything you do not intend to shoot. Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire. Ensure the safety is engaged when the airsoft gun is not in use.

5. Setup
5.1 CO2 Cartridge Installation
- Ensure the airsoft gun is on SAFE and pointed in a safe direction.
- Locate the CO2 compartment at the bottom of the grip.
- Open the CO2 door/cover.
- Insert a 12-gram CO2 cartridge into the compartment with the narrow neck facing upwards.
- Tighten the screw at the bottom of the grip until the CO2 cartridge is pierced and sealed. Do not overtighten.
- Close the CO2 door/cover.
5.2 Loading BBs into the Magazine
- Press the magazine release button (located near the trigger guard) to eject the magazine.
- Pull down the spring follower at the bottom of the magazine until it locks into place or can be held.
- Insert 6mm airsoft BBs through the loading port on the side of the magazine.
- Once loaded (up to 15 BBs), release the spring follower carefully.
- Insert the loaded magazine firmly into the grip until it clicks into place.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Engaging/Disengaging Safety
The Walther P99 features a press safety mechanism. To engage the safety, press the safety button (located above the trigger on the right side) inwards until it locks. To disengage the safety and prepare for firing, press the button from the opposite side (left side) until it protrudes on the right side.
6.2 Firing the Airsoft Gun
- Ensure the airsoft gun is loaded with BBs and a CO2 cartridge is installed.
- Point the airsoft gun at a safe target.
- Disengage the safety.
- Pull the trigger to fire. The metal slide will blow back with each shot, simulating realistic recoil.
- When the magazine is empty, the slide will lock back. Insert a new loaded magazine and press the slide release to continue firing.
Important: Keep hands and fingers clear of the slide's path during operation, as it cycles rapidly.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your airsoft gun.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the inner barrel using a cleaning rod and silicone oil.
- Lubrication: Apply silicone oil to moving parts, especially the slide rails and O-rings, to maintain smooth operation and prevent wear.
- Storage: Store the airsoft gun in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Always remove the CO2 cartridge and magazine before storage.
- CO2 Cartridge Removal: Never leave a pierced CO2 cartridge in the airsoft gun for extended periods, as it can damage the seals.
