2. Safety Information

• Ensure batteries are fully charged before each flight.

• Keep fingers and loose clothing away from propellers.

3. Package Contents

4. Setup

4.1 Transmitter Battery Installation

1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the PERFEX KT-20 transmitter.
2. Insert four (4) "AA" alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2 Aircraft Battery Charging

The flight battery requires charging before first use. A full charge takes approximately 20 minutes.

1. Connect the flight battery to the provided charger.
2. Connect the charger to a suitable power source (e.g., USB port).
3. Observe the charger's indicator light (refer to charger manual for specific light patterns).
4. Disconnect the battery once charging is complete. Do not overcharge.

4.3 Binding (Pairing) the Transmitter and Aircraft

Your Readyset aircraft and transmitter are typically pre-bound from the factory. If re-binding is necessary, follow these general steps:

1. Ensure the transmitter batteries are installed and the transmitter is OFF.
2. Connect the flight battery to the aircraft.
3. Turn ON the transmitter while holding the bind button (if present, refer to transmitter manual).
4. The aircraft's receiver light should indicate a successful bind (e.g., solid light).
5. Turn off both the aircraft and transmitter, then power them on in the correct sequence (transmitter first, then aircraft) to confirm binding.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Pre-Flight Checks

• Ensure all control surfaces (ailerons, elevator, rudder) move freely and correctly in response to transmitter inputs.
• Check propeller for damage and ensure it is securely attached.
• Verify flight battery is fully charged and securely installed.
• Confirm transmitter batteries have sufficient power.

5.2 Take-Off

For hand-launching:

1. Hold the aircraft firmly with one hand, away from the propeller.
2. Apply full throttle with the transmitter.
3. Gently toss the aircraft forward and slightly upwards into the wind.
4. Immediately gain altitude and establish stable flight.

5.3 Flight Controls

The PERFEX KT-20 2.4GHz 4-channel system provides control over:

• Throttle: Controls motor speed and altitude.
• Elevator: Controls pitch (nose up/down).
• Ailerons: Controls roll (wing tilt for turns).
• Rudder: Controls yaw (nose left/right).

Practice gentle control inputs, especially during initial flights, to familiarize yourself with the aircraft's response.

5.4 Landing

1. Approach the landing area into the wind.
2. Gradually reduce throttle and maintain a controlled descent.
3. Use elevator to flare (gently raise the nose) just before touchdown to reduce speed and achieve a soft landing.
4. Cut throttle completely upon touchdown.
