The DS52 uses Configuration Variables (CVs) to set its accessory addresses. The DS52 controls two turnouts, with the second turnout automatically assigned the next sequential address after the first.

  1. Place your DCC system into accessory programming mode. Refer to your DCC system's manual for specific instructions on programming accessory decoders.
  2. Send the desired accessory address for the first turnout to the DS52 using your DCC throttle. For example, if you want the first turnout to be address 10, send address 10.
  3. The DS52 will store this address. The second turnout will automatically be assigned address 11.
  4. Exit programming mode on your DCC system.

Note: Some DCC systems may have a dedicated programming track or method for stationary decoders. Consult your DCC system's documentation.

Once programmed, you can control the turnouts connected to the DS52 using your DCC throttle.
