Setup
Setting the Time
- Pull the crown (the small knob on the side of the watch) out to the outermost position.
- Rotate the crown in either direction until the hour and minute hands indicate the correct time.
- Push the crown back into its original position to start the watch.
Setting the Date
- Pull the crown out to the middle position.
- Rotate the crown until the correct date appears in the date window.
- Push the crown back into its original position.
Note: To avoid changing the date at noon, set the date when the watch hands are between 6 AM and 9 AM.
Wearing the Watch

Operating Features
Indiglo Night-Light
Your Timex Expedition Camper watch is equipped with the Indiglo night-light feature, which illuminates the entire watch dial for easy reading in low-light conditions.
- To activate the Indiglo night-light, simply press and hold the crown. The dial will illuminate as long as the crown is pressed.
Water Resistance
This watch is water-resistant to 100 meters (330 feet). This rating means the watch is suitable for:
- Splashes
- Rain
- Showering
- Swimming
- Snorkeling
Important:
- Do not press the crown or operate any buttons while the watch is wet or submerged.
- This watch is not suitable for scuba diving or high-impact water sports.
- Water resistance is not a permanent condition and may eventually deteriorate. It is recommended to have your watch's water resistance checked periodically by a qualified technician.
Maintenance
Battery Replacement
The watch uses one Lithium Metal battery (included). When the watch stops running or the Indiglo light dims significantly, it is an indication that the battery needs replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a professional watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.
Cleaning
- Case: Wipe the watch case with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Strap: The nylon strap can be gently hand-washed with mild soap and water. Allow it to air dry completely before reattaching to the watch or wearing.
