1. Introduction

The Innovative Technology 35mm Negative and Slide Converter to PC is designed to quickly and easily transfer your 35mm negatives and slides to your PC or notebook. This device allows you to digitize your photo collections, enabling you to print, edit, or archive them with the included scanning software.

2. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your 35mm Negative and Slide Converter:

1. Unpack the Device: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure you have the converter unit, USB cable, and software CD.
2. Connect to PC: Connect the converter to your PC using the provided USB cable. The device is powered via the USB connection.

1. Load Negatives or Slides: Use the appropriate holder for your 35mm negatives or slides. The device typically comes with a 4-slide holder. Carefully insert your film or slides into the holder.
2. Position Holder: Slide the loaded holder into the converter's input slot.
3. Initiate Scan: Within the software, or by pressing the "One Touch" button on the device, initiate the scanning process. The device features fixed focus range and auto exposure/color balance.
4. Review and Save: After scanning, the image will appear in the software. You can then save the image to your PC. The software often allows for batch processing, such as saving 12 images at a time before requiring a manual save.

• Dust Removal: Before scanning, it is highly recommended to air blow the front and back of each slide or negative to remove any dust particles. Dust can appear as spots on your digitized images.
• Lens Cleaning: Periodically clean the optical element of the scanner with a soft, lint-free cloth designed for optics. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
