Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to set up your wireless router:
- Positioning the Router: Place the router in a central location within your home or office for optimal wireless coverage. - Connect to Modem: Connect one end of the provided Ethernet cable to the yellow Internet port on the back of the router. Connect the other end to your modem's Ethernet port.

- Power On: Connect the power adapter to the router's power input and then plug it into an electrical outlet. Wait for the power LED on the front of the router to turn solid green.

- Connect a Computer: For initial setup, connect a computer to one of the router's LAN ports (numbered 1-4) using an Ethernet cable. Alternatively, you can connect wirelessly using the default Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password found on the router's label.
- Access Router Settings: Open a web browser on the connected computer and navigate to www.routerlogin.net or 192.168.1.1. Log in using the default username (admin) and password (password), then follow the on-screen instructions to configure your internet connection and wireless settings. It is recommended to change the default login credentials for security.

- Push 'N' Connect (WPS): For compatible devices, you can securely connect to the wireless network by pressing the 'Push 'N' Connect' (WPS) button on the router and then activating WPS on your device within two minutes.
- Guest Network Access: The router allows you to set up a separate and secure network for guests, keeping your main network private.
- Scheduled Wi-Fi On/Off: You can program specific times for the Wi-Fi to turn on or off, which can help conserve power and manage network access.

Utilize Live Parental Controls to manage and filter internet content for safer web surfing on all connected devices. Access these settings through the router's web interface.
Maintenance

Troubleshooting

- If you forgot your password, you may need to perform a factory reset (see below).
- Factory Reset: If all else fails, you can restore the router to its factory default settings. Locate the small reset button (often recessed) on the back or bottom of the router. With the router powered on, use a paperclip to press and hold the reset button for about 7-10 seconds until the power light blinks. Release the button and wait for the router to restart. Warning: A factory reset will erase all your custom settings, including Wi-Fi name and password. You will need to reconfigure the router from scratch.
