The Coleman Twin LED Lantern requires eight (8) D-cell batteries (not included) for operation. Follow these steps to install the batteries:
- Ensure the lantern is in the 'OFF' position.
- Turn the base of the lantern counter-clockwise to unlock and remove the battery compartment cover.
- Insert eight D-cell batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment. Incorrect installation can cause damage to the lantern.
- Replace the battery compartment cover and turn clockwise until it is securely closed.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Power On/Off and Brightness Adjustment
The lantern features a rotary dimmer switch for easy control:
- To turn the lantern ON, rotate the switch clockwise from the 'OFF' position.
- Continue rotating the switch clockwise to increase the brightness. The lantern offers a maximum output of 390 lumens (high setting).
- Rotate the switch counter-clockwise to decrease the brightness. The lowest setting provides 100 lumens.
- To turn the lantern OFF, rotate the switch fully counter-clockwise until it clicks into the 'OFF' position.
The textured tube design ensures an even, all-around beam pattern, providing consistent illumination.
4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
To clean the lantern, wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish or plastic components.
