• This product is designed for installation on wood stud walls or solid concrete walls. Do not install on drywall alone.
• The wall must be capable of supporting five times the weight of the television and the mount combined.
• Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 135 lbs (61.2 kg).
• Use this product only for its intended purpose as described in this manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
• Always have two people for installation and assembly to avoid injury or damage.
• Ensure all screws are tightened securely but do not overtighten. Overtightening can damage screws and components.
• Periodically check the mount for loose screws or signs of wear.

5. Setup and Installation

5.1 Before You Begin

• Check VESA Pattern: Ensure your TV's VESA mounting holes (on the back of the TV) are within the range of 200x100mm to 600x400mm.
• Verify TV Weight: Confirm your TV's weight does not exceed 135 lbs (61.2 kg).
• Identify Wall Type: This mount is for wood stud or solid concrete walls. Do not mount on drywall alone.
• Clear Area: Ensure there are no electrical outlets, cables, or other obstructions within the mounting area on the wall.

5.2 Tools Required (Not Included)

• Stud Finder (for wood stud installation)
• Drill with appropriate drill bits (e.g., 5/16" for lag bolts)
• Level
• Measuring Tape
• Pencil
• Socket Wrench or Hex Key Set
• Phillips Head Screwdriver

5.3 Mounting the Wall Plate

1. Locate Studs: Use a stud finder to locate the center of two adjacent wood studs. Mark their positions. The wall plate supports studs up to 24 inches apart. For concrete walls, mark desired drill points.
2. Position Wall Plate: Hold the wall plate against the wall at the desired height. Use a level to ensure it is perfectly horizontal. Mark the pilot hole locations through the wall plate's mounting holes.
3. Drill Pilot Holes: Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. For wood studs, use a 5/16" (8mm) drill bit. For concrete walls, use a 3/8" (10mm) masonry drill bit and insert concrete anchors (not always included, may need to be purchased separately).
4. Secure Wall Plate: Attach the wall plate to the wall using the provided lag bolts and washers. Tighten them securely with a socket wrench, but do not overtighten.

5.4 Attaching TV Brackets to Television

1. Select Screws and Spacers: Choose the correct diameter and length of screws (M4, M5, M6, M8) from the hardware kit that fit your TV's mounting holes. Use spacers if the TV back is uneven or if cables need clearance.
2. Attach Brackets: Align the TV brackets with the mounting holes on the back of your television. Ensure the brackets are oriented correctly (hooks facing upwards). Secure the brackets using the selected screws and washers. Tighten firmly with a Phillips head screwdriver.

5.5 Mounting Television to Wall Plate

1. Hook TV onto Wall Plate: With assistance, carefully lift the television and hook the attached TV brackets onto the wall plate's arms. Ensure both brackets are securely seated.
2. Secure TV: Locate the security screws at the bottom of the TV brackets. Tighten these screws to lock the TV onto the wall plate, preventing accidental dislodgement.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Adjusting Tilt

The mount allows for a tilt adjustment of +15 degrees forward and -5 degrees backward. To adjust the tilt:

1. Loosen the tilt control knobs or bolts located on the side of the TV brackets (refer to image).
2. Carefully tilt the television to your desired angle.
3. Tighten the tilt control knobs or bolts to secure the TV in position.

6.2 Adjusting Swivel

The dual-arm design allows for 160 degrees of side-to-side swivel. To swivel the TV:

1. Gently grasp the sides of your television.
2. Carefully push or pull the TV to the desired left or right viewing angle. The mount has multiple swivel points for smooth movement.

6.3 Level Adjustment

The mount features post-installation level adjustment to ensure your TV is perfectly horizontal.

1. Locate the level adjustment screws on the TV brackets where they connect to the main arm (refer to image).
2. Slightly loosen these screws.
3. Adjust the TV until it is level using a spirit level.
4. Retighten the screws to secure the level.

7. Maintenance

• Periodically (at least once every three months) check that all screws and connections are secure. Retighten if necessary.
• Clean the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Ensure the articulating arms move smoothly. If movement becomes stiff, check for any obstructions or loose components.

8. Troubleshooting

• TV is not level after installation: Use the post-installation level adjustment feature as described in Section 6.3. Slightly loosen the adjustment screws, level the TV, and then retighten.
• Mount feels too stiff or difficult to move: Check the pivot bolts on the articulating arms. They may be overtightened from the factory or during installation. Slightly loosen them (about a turn and a half) to allow for smoother movement, then test. Do not loosen excessively.
• TV appears to sag: Ensure all lag bolts securing the wall plate to the wall studs are fully tightened. Also, verify that the TV's weight does not exceed the mount's maximum capacity.
• Missing parts or damaged components: Do not proceed with installation. Contact VideoSecu customer support immediately for replacement parts.
