3. Setup
3.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the clipper. Connect the plug-in transformer to the charging stand and then to a suitable power outlet (100-240V). Place the clipper in the charging stand. The LED indicator lights will show the charging status. A full charge takes approximately 60 minutes.
3.2 Attaching Combs
Select the desired cutting length comb (3, 6, 9, or 12 mm). Align the comb with the clipper blade and slide it on until it clicks securely into place.
3.3 Blade Adjustment
The clipper features an integrated cutting-length adjustment on the blade set, ranging from 0.7 mm to 3 mm. This can be adjusted without attachment combs for precise cutting lengths.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On/Off
To turn the clipper on, slide the power switch to the 'I' position. To turn it off, slide the switch to the 'O' position.
4.2 Corded and Cordless Operation
The clipper can be used both corded (while plugged into the charger) or cordless. The Li-lon battery provides up to 90 minutes of operating time on a full charge.
4.3 Cutting Hair
Ensure hair is clean and dry. Use the appropriate attachment comb for the desired length. Guide the clipper smoothly through the hair against the direction of hair growth. The chip-controlled motor ensures constant cutting power regardless of battery charge level or hair type.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Blade Set
After each use, turn off and unplug the clipper. The blade set is easily removable for cleaning. Press the release button (if applicable) or gently push the blade set forward to detach it. Use the provided cleaning brush to remove hair clippings from the blades and the clipper body. Do not rinse the clipper under water.
5.2 Oiling the Blades
Regular oiling of the blades is crucial for optimal performance and longevity. After cleaning, apply a few drops of the included oil to the teeth and friction surfaces of the blade set. Turn the clipper on for a few seconds to distribute the oil evenly. Wipe off any excess oil.
5.3 Storage
Store the clipper in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Ensure the clipper is clean and oiled before storing for extended periods.
