1. Product Overview

The Westek LPL601XL LED Picture Light is designed to illuminate artwork, pictures, or serve as a reading light when clipped to headboards. It features white LEDs providing 70 lumens of illumination. The unit is battery-operated, requiring 3 AA batteries (not included), eliminating the need for wiring. It offers three light settings: on, dim, and off. The light head is rotatable, and the neck is flexible for adjustable light positioning. Installation is facilitated by a built-in bubble level.

2. Safety Information

• This product is intended for indoor use only.
• Use only 3 AA batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
• Ensure batteries are inserted with correct polarity (+/-).

4. Setup and Installation

1. Install Batteries:

   Locate the battery compartment on the back of the light unit. Open the cover and insert 3 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the battery cover securely.

2. Prepare for Mounting:

   The light unit includes a removable mounting bracket. Slide this bracket off the back of the main unit. This bracket has keyhole slots for wall mounting.

3. Mark Mounting Points:

   Hold the mounting bracket against the wall at the desired location. Use the built-in bubble level to ensure it is straight. Mark the positions for the two mounting screws through the keyhole slots.
4. Install Mounting Hardware:

   Drill pilot holes at the marked locations (if necessary, depending on wall material, use wall anchors). Insert the provided screws, leaving them slightly protruding from the wall.

5. Attach Light Unit:

   Align the keyhole slots on the back of the light unit (or the re-attached mounting bracket) with the protruding screw heads. Slide the unit downwards to secure it firmly against the wall.

5. Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off and Dimming:

   The light features a multi-function button, typically located on one end of the light bar. Press the button once to turn the light ON at full brightness. Press it a second time to activate the DIM mode. Press it a third time to turn the light OFF.

2. Adjusting Light Position:

   The light bar is connected to the base by a flexible neck and a rotating light head. Gently adjust the neck and rotate the light head to direct the illumination as desired over your artwork or reading area.

6. Maintenance

• Battery Replacement: When the light dims significantly or stops working, replace all three AA batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 4.
• Cleaning: Wipe the light unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish.
