  1. Prepare for Installation: Turn off the electrical power at the main fuse box or circuit breaker. Ensure the power is off before proceeding.
  2. Mount the Mounting Plate: Attach the mounting plate to the junction box in the wall using the screws provided in the hardware kit. Ensure it is securely fastened.
  3. Make Electrical Connections: Connect the fixture's wires to the corresponding house wires. Connect the black wire from the fixture to the black (hot) wire from the junction box. Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the junction box. Connect the bare copper or green ground wire from the fixture to the green or bare copper ground wire from the junction box. Secure all connections with wire nuts.
  4. Attach the Fixture Body: Carefully tuck the wires into the junction box. Align the fixture body with the mounting plate and secure it using the provided screws.
  5. Install the Glass Shade: Gently place the alabaster glass shade onto the fixture. Ensure it is seated properly and secured according to the fixture's design (e.g., with retaining clips or screws, if applicable).
  6. Install Light Bulbs: Insert two (2) E26 medium base incandescent bulbs, up to 60 watts each (not included), into the sockets. Do not exceed the maximum wattage.
  7. Restore Power: Turn the electrical power back on at the main fuse box or circuit breaker. Test the fixture to ensure it is working correctly.
